A crash has cut power to about 5,000 Nova Scotia Power customers Thursday.

According to RCMP it was on Highway 1 from Sackville Drive to the Irving Gas Station.

Crews have now cleared the scene, however power is still out.

According to the outage map, the current restoration time is about 6 p.m.
