NSCC’s president is stepping down.

Don Bureaux is taking on a new role as president and CEO of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce in March.

His last day at the community college will be February 27.

Bureaux was named president in 2011, but has been with NSCC since 2004.

The College’s Board of Govenors says they’re beginning the process of searching for a new president.

Chair Jackie Poirier says Bureaux made an impact over two decades, and they’re sorry to see him leave.
