It’s time to save water if you live in Halifax.
The utility says levels at Lake Major and Pockwock Lake are still lower than normal, despite voluntary conservation measures put in place last month.
Without significant rain and increased conservation, mandatory measures will be required.
Halifax Water is asking all customers to follow the measures until further notice.
They say it will help delay the need for mandatory rules and ease the demand on the water source.
Halifax Water is urging residents to follow the Voluntary Water Conservation Measures Requested for the Municipality
