One person has been charged following a drug trafficking investigation in Sioux Lookout.

This past Saturday around 2 pm, the Sioux Lookout OPP were dispatched to a local hotel to investigate a report of suspected drug paraphernalia.

Police say they seized some methamphetamine and cocaine and other drug trafficking items.

A 19-year-old was arrested and charged with trafficking, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, and failing to comply with a probation order.

They were held in custody pending a court appearance today.
