N.S. women’s baseball team finishes 4th at Canada Games

Three girls from Yarmouth were part of a fourth place finish for Team Nova Scotia.

Ellie Pyne, Maddie Gates and Anna Murphy competed at the first ever Canada Games women’s baseball tournament.

Nova Scotia fell to Alberta in Saturday’s semi-final, and to B.C. in Sunday’s bronze medal game.

The team went 4-0 in the round-robin to reach the playoff round.
