Highway 17 east of Kenora is open again following a collision Saturday afternoon.

The road was closed near Kimberly Road just after noon

An eyewitness says there was a massive collision head-on crash between a half ton and SUV.

The highway was closed from the Longbow Lake turnoff to just past Redden’s store for about seven hours.

No other details about the collision have been released, including if there were any injuries.
