Drug-trafficking charges laid against Kejick Bay man

An investigation into drug trafficking has resulted in the arrest of a man from Kejick Bay.

The 31-year-old makes a court appearance today.

A search of a home in the community led Lac Seul Police to find Services one ounce of cocaine, one ounce of cannabis, 28 grams of hashish and 14 grams of shatter, a highly potent cannabis concentrate.

Four replica handguns, three rifles, items used for drug trafficking and $1,300 were also seized.

The suspect was arrested on a charge of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a previous court order.

He remains in custody pending the court appearance.
