Liverpool’s Sarah Mitton defended her NACAC (North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships) shotput gold medal over the weekend in the Bahamas.

With her throw of 20.02 metres, she bested her nearest competition by nearly two metres.

Mitton also claimed gold in the 2022 NACAC event.
