If you’re concerned about coyote sightings in Canso, you can learn more about the wily canine on Monday evening.

In July there were reports of the animal near the Canso waterfront and elsewhere in the Municipality of the District of Guysborough.

Department of Natural Resources staff have since been working to manage and deter coyotes in the community.

According to the municipality’s Facebook page, a DNR wildlife biologist is scheduled to answer your coyote questions at the Canso Arena in the Warm Room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
