An all-star lineup is set to bring the laughter to St. Peter’s as part of the Cape Breton Comedy Festival.
The August 21st show will be at the Bras d’Or Lakes Inn.
Nathan Macintosh, a 2025 JUNO nominee for Best Comedy Album, is the headlining act.
The Halifax native now lives in New York and has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Conan, and Just for Laughs Galas. Variety placed him among their 10 comics to watch for in 2024.
In an online review, entertainment magazine Vulture named Macintosh’s YouTube special, Down with Tech, One of the 5 Stand-Up Specials You Should Definitely Watch.
Fellow Juno nominee Courtney Gilmour will co-headline. She has appeared at all major Canadian comedy festivals and featured on national festival broadcasts.
Comics Brian O’Gorman and Jeff Elliott will also perform.
Cape Breton-born comic and festival co-founder Nick Beaton will host.
Tickets for the St Peter’s In Stitches show have sold out two years in a row.
The festival offers eight shows across the island from August 20th to 23rd.
