Many New Brunswickers are now paying more to fill up their vehicle’s fuel tank.

The maximum price for regular self-serve climbed by nearly two cents per litre overnight.

Officials said the most you will now be paying is just under $1.47 per litre.

Diesel prices fell by around the same amount to a new maximum of $1.56 per litre.

The price of propane also fell to a maximum $1.02 per litre, while heating oil prices are down to a maximum of $1.44 per litre.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.45 to $1.49 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.53 and $1.57 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.51 per litre, diesel costs around $1.63 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.21 per litre.
