A Halifax Police officer has been cleared after a man was injured during an arrest.
The Serious Incident Response Team found no reasonable grounds to believe the officer used excessive force on April 7.
A man on a Halifax Transit bus was smashing windows and taunting other passengers.
He fled on foot and resisted arrest, he bit an officer and drew blood.
It took several officers to arrest the man, who suffered a broken rib.
