There will be a planned outage on the Eastern Shore overnight.
Nova Scotia Power says it will affect Porters Lake, East Lawrencetown, Lake Echo, Mineville and neighbouring communities.
Power will out in these areas from 11:59 p.m. Thursday until 4 a.m. Friday.
The utility says the outage is because crews will be upgrading equipment to improve reliability of service.
