The New Brunswick Lumber Producers are upset about more tariffs from the U.S.
The group says the new duties, called anti-dumping fees, are totally unjustified.
The U.S. wants to increase duties from 7.66 per cent to 20.56.
The group says the Canadian government and the province manages fees on the industry.
They say the U.S. government audited the province’s largest producer five times since 2017.
Because there has been no change in the industry, they say these taxes do not make any sense.
