A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing on Gottingen Street.

Police say it was around 11:15 p.m., July 10, when police responded to a report of a man who had been stabbed on the 2000 block of Gottingen.

The 45-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The victim and suspect did not know each other but had been arguing.

Thursday morning, police searched two homes on Nova Court in Dartmouth and arrested a 30-year-old man.
