A popular lake in the Halifax area will have workers over the next few days conducting a geotechnical survey.
The city says a floating platform on Chocolate Lake has the equipment being used to collect data that supports the “rehabilitation or replacement” of the dam.
There is a floating barrier around the platform for safety.
Work will take place 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., July 15 to 18 and does not affect access to the lake or beach.
