Fuel prices rise, propane dips in N.B.

The cost of gas rose this week.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its fuel price adjustments overnight

Diesel users are paying 4.4 cents a litre more, with a maximum of around $1.58.

Regular self-serve rose 2.8 cents a litre, putting the maximum at around $1.44

A little less to fill the propane tank this week, prices dipped 1.9 cents.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.43 to $1.47 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.58 and $1.62 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.48 per litre, diesel costs around $1.64 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.21 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
