New Glasgow’s Kori Cheverie named PWHL Coach of the Year

Nova Scotia’s Kori Cheverie is the Professional Women’s Hockey League coach of the year.

The New Glasgow native coached the Montreal Victoire to a first-place finish in the PWHL standings.

The 38-year-old was named to the position when the league began operations in 2023.

Cheverie has also served as an assistant coach on Canada’s national women’s team since 2021.
