24-year-old man dies in single-vehicle crash in Notre-Dame

A 24-year-old man from Grande-Digue has died following a single-vehicle crash in Notre-Dame, near Moncton.

RCMP say the crash happened on Route 115 around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators believe the man was driving south when he lost control, veered off the road, and struck a power pole and several trees. He was the only person in the vehicle.

The man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.

No further details have been released regarding what led to the crash.
