Information needed after pedestrian struck in Sussex

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a collision in Sussex involving a pedestrian.

It happened at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday on Leonard Drive.

A 15-year-old boy was rollerblading and attempting to cross the street when he was struck.

RCMP say the driver got out of the vehicle to check on the teen before leaving the scene.

The boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police would like to speak with the driver of the red vehicle involved in the incident.
