The Moncton Wildcats will be in the national championship.

They’re headed to the Memorial Cup, because the host Rimouski Oceanic have advanced to the QMJHL final.

Rimouski beat Shawinigan 4-3 in double-overtime of Game 7 Tuesday night to qualify.

Moncton will host Game 1 of the final series on Saturday, and Game 2 on Sunday.

The Memorial Cup will be played later this month in Rimouski.
