A flourish of festivals and fun for downtown Moncton

Looking for something to do this summer?

Once again, there is a full list of festivals in downtown Moncton from which to choose.

If you’re craving haggis or a reason to wear yer kilt, the Greater Moncton Highland Games and Scottish festival returns June 10 to 14.

For the car enthusiasts, the Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza will be held from July 9 to 13.

Mosaiq Street Markets will be held July 17, August 21 and September 18.

Other festivals and activities planned:

  • Shoppers Run for Women-May 4
  • Greater Moncton Dragon Boat Festival-May 30 to 31
  • Accoustica Summer Concert Series-June 3 to August 23, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
  • Rotary RibFest-June 19 to 22
  • POPS NB-June 23 to 28
  • Canada Day celebrations  on July 1
  • Moncton Buskers Festival- July 18 to 20
  • Pride festival-August 1 to 10
  • Acadia Rock festival-August 14 to 17
  • Mosaiq Parade of Nations-September 6

According to Downtown Moncton Centreville Inc., over 236,000 people attended events supported by their organization in 2024.  They generated around $3.19 million in economic impact for downtown Moncton.
