An industry source says New Brunswick drivers can expect some relief at the pumps.

Regular self-serve gas is set to drop Thursday night by about 3.5 cents a litre, while diesel is falling by around 2 cents a litre.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.42 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.47 per litre for diesel and $1.37 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.35 to $1.39 per litre, while diesel sells for between $1.41 and $1.45 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.45 per litre, diesel costs around $1.52 per litre, and home heating oil sells for a maximum of $1.15 per litre.
