Outbreak at Rainycrest partially lifted

Visitor restrictions and masking protocols are still needed at one wing of Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances.

Riverside Health Care says a respiratory outbreak is still impacting the East Wing.

Outbreaks were first declared in the East and West wings earlier this month.

Riverside says it has been lifted for the West Wing.

Residents in the East wing are still restricted from having no more than two visitors or caregivers at any one time.

Visits are also restricted to the resident’s room.

There are also restrictions on admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Large group social activities for residents in the East wing remain cancelled until further notice.
