You have a chance to hear from federal election candidates in Saint John and Charlotte County.

The Human Development Council in Saint John is hosting a pair of candidate forums this week.

“The forums will focus on pressing social issues affecting our communities,” the council said in a news release.

“Candidates will be asked to respond to questions designed to inform voters about their platforms and priorities.”

The Saint John-Kennebecasis forum will be held on Tuesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Kent Theatre on Coburg Street.

The Saint John-St. Croix forum will take place at the same time Wednesday at the Carleton Community Centre on Market Place.

Both forums will be livestreamed on the council’s Facebook page for those who are unable to make it.
