A proposal before Fort Frances town council calls for their Chief Administrative Officer as serve as acting fire chief.

Council is to decide the matter at its meeting on Monday.

Marcel Michaels tells Acadia News a contract with Interim Fire Chief Dave Robertson is to expire next Friday, and there is a need to put someone in place.

Robertson was hired on a contract basis last April following the sudden departure of Tyler Moffitt.
