The Thunder Bay Public Library’s Library Giving Day campaign is back.

The one-day fundraising event is running for the second year and it is taking place on Tuesday.

“Charitable donations enable TBPL to innovate and introduce new programs and collections for free community access,” said CEO Richard Togman. “We’re grateful for the support from individuals and businesses, like Jones Insurance and Lowerys.”

Jones Insurance and Lowerys Thunder Bay are matching the community giving day donations up to a total of $4,500.

“Jones Insurance is proud to support Thunder Bay Library Giving Day, recognizing the essential role libraries play in fostering education, connection, and opportunity,” said Jones Insurance President Jeff Jones. “We believe strongly in the potential of our youth and future community leaders, and we see libraries as pivotal spaces for nurturing leadership, innovation, and personal growth.”
