Charges have been laid against a Saint John man in connection with a child pornography investigation.

The probe began in July 2024, and on October 10, RCMP searched a home on Mystery Lake Drive.

A 34-year-old man was arrested, and several electronic devices were seized.

He was charged on March 4 with possession of child pornography.

The man has been released on strict conditions with a future court date.

Members of the New Brunswick RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit, the Saint John Police Force, and the New Brunswick RCMP’s Digital Forensics Services were involved in the investigation.
