By News Mar 5, 2025 | 5:07 PM

Seven people are facing charges in multiple drug trafficking investigations.

Southwest Nova RCMP say over the course of three days last week, guns, suspected fentanyl, illicit drugs and cash were seized after four homes were searched.

They were on Hwy 1 in Salmon River, two apartments on Prince William Street in Digby and two more homes in South Rawdon and Bramber.

“Our teams are continuing their strategic work to address drug trafficking in communities across Southwest Nova,” says Supt. Jason Popik, District Policing Officer, Southwest Nova District RCMP. “Whether it’s to address trafficking in illicit drugs and substances or the illegal sale of cannabis, we’re committed to enforcement that helps make our communities safer.”

Six men and one woman ranging in age from 26-51 will be in court at a later date.
