Tri-County groups can apply for health program funding

By Kevin Northup Mar 5, 2025 | 11:57 AM

Health organizations in our area can apply for a fund once again.

It’s through the Community Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

The Reciprocity Health Fund has given $700,000 in the Tri-Counties in the last three years.

CEO Daniel Holland says it’s done a lot for the area, including funding for a nurse practitioner at the Tri-County Women’s Centre, and recreation at the Bear River First Nation.

Groups have until April 25 to apply.

Programs should be partnered with an organization, municipality, charity or post-secondary institution in the Tri-Counties.
