Lakehead University and Science North are teaming up to host a Science Carnival.

The free event is open to everyone and is part of Science North’s Science Festival, and Lakehead University’s Research and Innovation Week.

There will be activities for everyone and it is family-friendly.

Vendors will be displaying hands-on presentations and labs.

There will also be Indigenous knowledge-based activities.

The event is taking place at Intercity Mall on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

This comes as Lakehead celebrates 20 years of Research and Innovation Week.

The university is hosting 30 events between Saturday and February 28.
