Tax cuts promised under a Liberal government

Ontario’s Liberal leader is promising to make life more affordable in the province.

Bonnie Crombie says stimulus checks provided by the Ford government before the election are not the answer.

“It is good to get a check. You like your money back. I get that. But what about next month? It helps once,” says Crombie.

Crombie says a Liberal government will bring forward tax cuts.

“We have a plan that will cut personal income taxes, cut small business taxes and eliminate the HST off home heating and hydro. We have a plan to make life more affordable for all people but especially our young people and especially our seniors.”

Crombie is also committing to striking a new financial agreement with Ontario’s municipalities and working with them to determine what that is going to look like for them.

The provincial election takes place on February 27th.
