Visitor restrictions are in place at LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
It is due to an Influenza A outbreak on the First Floor In-Patient unit.
Riverside Health Care says patients are permitted no more than two visitors at one time until further notice.
Mask-wearing within the unit is also mandatory for all visitors.
Riverside says staff may require visitors to wear additional personal protective equipment (PPE) if necessary.
All visitors to the hospital are also being asked to screen for symptoms and avoid visiting if symptomatic.
There are no restrictions on hospital services at this time as Riverside’s Outbreak Management Team continues to monitor the outbreak.
