A 20-year-old woman is facing a list of charges after a break and enter at a business in Digby.

RCMP say it was Tuesday afternoon when they were called to Water Street, after a bystander saw a broken window at the front of the building.

A staff member confirmed a number of items had been stolen from behind the counter.

Police identified the suspect through security footage and after a search of the neighborhood, were able to find some of the things believed to have been taken.

The woman was arrested later that day at a home on Hwy 1 in Marshalltown and seized other stolen items.

She was in court Tuesday facing these charges:

  • Break and Enter
  • Theft Under $5000
  • Mischief Under $5000
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

The woman will remain in custody until her next court date later in January.
