You are going to be able to put out some extra garbage on your next collection day.

Thunder Bay is allowing residents to put out a third garbage bag on their first collection day of the new year.

The city offers free additional bag pick-ups after New Year’s, Victoria Day, and Labour Day.

Outside of these days, residents can purchase additional bag stickers at any Thunder Bay Public Library or the landfill to put out an extra bag whenever.
