RCMP have charged a man following an attempted robbery in Yarmouth.
On Monday at about 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man brandishing a knife at a pharmacy on Starrs Road. He threatened employees and demanded prescription drugs.
Police arrested him as he left the business and found a prohibited “butterfly” knife on his person.
The 46-year-old accused was held in custody to appear in court Tuesday.
