A developing storm system could lead to travel headaches on Christmas Eve.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all of southern New Brunswick.

Forecasters said while it is too soon to provide specific details, the potential exists for “significant amounts” of snow.

“Additional information will be provided as the details become more certain,” said the statement.

The snow is expected to begin on Tuesday morning and continue into Tuesday night.
