Evacuees from the Kashechewan First Nation have been arriving in Thunder Bay.
The first planeload arrived yesterday and two more are scheduled today.
The city says the remaining flights will arrive over the weekend.
The community is being evacuated because of on-going issues with the community’s drinking water.
The duration of their stay is expected to be about two weeks and extend over the holiday period, depending on the time needed for repairs to the water treatment plant in Kashechewan.
