The Northwest Training and Adjustment Board has come out with it’s monthly update.
It shows that nursing is the most in-demand job in the region, followed by store clerks and retail salespeople.
NTAB collates all the job postings in the region and breaks them down according to type, employer, and location.
In its November calculations, there were 1,129 jobs last month with an average hourly salary of over 29 dollars an hour.
46 were for registered nurses, 44 were for store clerks and 34 were for retail salespeople.
The Kenora District had the most job postings with 913 compared to 126 for the Rainy River District.
In terms of communities, the City of Dryden led the way with 258 jobs located in the city, followed by the Town of Red Lake at 86.
The employers with the most postings were Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora followed Walmart in Dryden and New Gold in the Rainy River District.
