Reduced hours for City of Moncton facilities for festive season

With the festive season almost upon us, the City of Moncton facilities will soon be operating on a holiday schedule.

Here are some of the changes you’ll want to take note of:

  • City Hall will close at noon on December 24 and December 31.  It is closed on December 25, 26 and January 1
  • Crossman Community Centre-Kay Arena will close at noon on December 24 and December 31.  It will remain closed on December 25.   On January 1, it will be open, but the hours will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with free activities for the whole family including skating, walking track, and activities in the gymnasium and multipurpose rooms
  • Greenfoot Energy 4-Plex will close at noon on December 24 and December 31.  It will be closed on December 25 and January 1
  • Moncton Coliseum will close at noon on December 24 and December 31.  It will be closed on December 25, 26 and January 1
  • Magnetic Hill Zoo is open for Wild Lights from December 19 to 23, from December 26 to 31 and from January 1 to 4.
  • Resurgo Place is closed from December 23 to 26, December 31, and January 1.
  • Codiac Transpo buses will stop running early on December 24 but will provide special New Year’s Eve service on December 31.  It will be closed on December 25, 26, and January 1.  Visit the Codiac Transpo holiday schedule on their website.
  • Moncton Market will be open regular hours on December 21 and 28

Waste collection scheduled for Wednesday, December 25 will be postponed to Saturday, December 28, and the collection scheduled for Wednesday,  January 1 will be postponed to Saturday, January 4.
