If you are a ‘Swiftie’, this is likely a good challenge for you.
The Nova Scotia SPCA is asking you to donate to help support the well over 700 cats in their shelters, in honour of Taylor Swift on her birthday, December 13.
Last year, shelters worldwide participated in ‘The Taylor Swift Cat Challenge, posing with their cats.
The pop superstar has three of her own: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.
This year, the SPCA asks, before you make a friendship bracelet, donate $13 (her favorite number), $35 (her age), or $87 (her boyfriends’ jersey number) to collect $1,989.
Chief Advancement Officer, Marni Tuttle says, it’s a great way to get fans of all ages engaged in philanthropy.
“We know that Swift fans are generous. You heard stories through the Era’s Tour and Taylor Swift herself gave back in every city she performed in.”
