Mounties say a man suffered “significant” injuries following an aggravated assault in downtown Moncton.
The incident happened at the intersection of Main Street and Robinson Court around 3 a.m. on Nov. 30.
Police only learned about the assault about 12 hours after it happened, according to a news release.
A 50-year-old man was treated in the hospital for significant non-life-threatening injuries and was later released
Investigators are looking for help from the public to identify two people they say were responsible.
Mounties did not release a description of the suspects or any video surveillance photos.
