RCMP are asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a homicide that happened in North Preston.
It was May 8, just before 11:50 p.m., when police received a report that a man had been shot near the 1100 block of Downey Rd.
There, they found 36-year-old Tyrell Beals of Westphal, at the scene with gunshot wounds.
He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Corporal Ryan McCarron of the Criminal Investigation Division says in a news release, the homicide remains unsolved, and more information is needed from the public.
“If you were in the area of Downey Road on May 8, or have any details about the events leading up to or after the shooting, please reach out to us; your voice could help bring closure to his grieving family.”
