The water conservation order is being lifted in Queens County.
It had been in place as a precaution for residents of Liverpool and Brooklyn since last month.
Recent rainfall has restored the lake to a level above the conservation threshold after overly dry conditions.
“Though the Town Lake is not at full capacity, there is sufficient water to enable the Voluntary Conservation measures to be removed,” – Region of Queens
Municipal staff will continue to monitor the water levels and give updates if anything changes.
