The discovery of two people in a burned out vehicle in Pictou County has turned into a murder investigation.

It stems from a call last month about an abandoned vehicle in Greenhill.

Officers found the bodies when they arrived on November 9 and started their investigation.

They have been identified as Kelly Trask, 32, of Truro, and Tyler Meagher, 34, of Grand Prairie, Alberta.

Trask was reported missing a five days after the vehicle was found and police called her disappearance suspicious.

No arrests have been made in relation to the deaths.
