No charges expected for 1 driver after Cole Harbour double hit and run

By News Dec 2, 2024 | 4:14 PM

No criminal charges are expected for one driver of a double hit and run in Cole Harbour, but police are still looking for information.

RCMP say it was at the intersection of Cole Harbour Rd and Caldwell Rd, just before 8:30p.m., November 22.

A white sedan hit a 30-year-old Dartmouth woman and is believed to have left the scene.

The driver, however, was identified Sunday, and information suggests they tried to avoid her, so police don’t expect there will be criminal charges.

She was on the ground after already hit by another car and ended up with serious injuries.

If you have any video between 8p.m. and 8:30p.m. that night, you are asked to come forward.
