Fencing has gone up for the Mariners Centre expansion project in Yarmouth.

The separate building is expected to be ready by the fall of 2026, it will feature a swimming pool, fitness centre, walking track and more.

In Barrington, the new Sherose Island Recreation Centre is coming along, steel frames are being put up, and paving has been taking place.

The new facility will have an indoor walking track, a program kitchen, a multi-purpose room, activity spaces, among other things.

It’s expected to be ready by July.
