The prime minister’s office says he’ll focus on clearing the allegations made against him.

Media reports say Boissonnault made conflicting statements over his ties to Indigenous heritage.

The National Post also reported that a company he co-owned claimed to be Indigenous owned while bidding on federal contracts.

Veterans Affairs Minister Ginette Petitpas Taylor will temporarily take over Boissonnault’s portfolios.
