If you take Halifax Transit, watch for adjustments taking effect Monday.
The city is implementing bus service changes to two routes and introducing a new express route. They’re part of the Moving Forward Together Plan rolled out in 2016 to make transit more efficient and improve ridership.
In a release, Halifax Transit says beginning November 18th, Route 1 Spring Garden will service Gottingen Street in both directions. An improved Route 10 A/B/C Dalhousie will be introduced to provide better and higher frequency service to destinations in Dartmouth. This modified route will replace Route 10 Dalhousie.
A new express route – Route 192 Hemlock Ravine – will provide weekday service during peak travel periods between neighbourhoods near Larry Uteck Boulevard east of Highway 102 and downtown Halifax.
Halifax Transit service changes are coming November 18, 2024. With new and updated service, we’re investing in high ridership routes & areas to make transit more efficient for people travelling throughout the region. Learn more: https://t.co/YoTz03AzyW pic.twitter.com/zAhW7QnW2l
