Look out for higher than normal water levels in Inverness County.
Environment Canada says they could reach three-to-five metres during high tide Friday on north and east facing coastlines.
A special weather statement is in effect for the county, south of Mabou.
They say the waves can cause coastal erosion and damage along the shoreline.
